Wim De Meyer graduated in 1986 as civil engineer at the University of Ghent. He is employed at Belgacom since 1987 where he occupied several functions. He started as a network engineer. After that he changed over to business development and product management, where he was responsible for the introduction of ADSL. Next, he was responsible for the strategy of the fixed lines and now he is responsible for the business transformation. The aim of this function is to transform the company to a so called ALL IP company. This is the result of the rise of the Internet technology which changes business processes, the networks, the products and services.

Anne Everard is now 13 years active in the telecom sector: first as a solicitor with Allen&Overy, then as Head of Legal and Regulatory within a pan-European telecom operator. Since 2 years Anne Everard is vice-director of the Belgian Telecom Minister, Vincent Van Quickenborne. She is also in charge of leading the Belgian presidency with regard to the European Digital Agenda and its implementation
